This year NUAC are reviving (and re-inventing) the old IVLans that used to be held on campus by the Computer Games Society. We aim to make these bigger, better and self perpetuating so that us Novacastrians can have a solid dedicated Lan scene that won't fold up or disappear on you
What: 3 Days of Lan Goodness
When: Oct 1-3rd 2010 Doors Open at 5pm!!
How much: $50 including Breakfasts and Dinners, as well as access to the GT Bar 11am-9pm
Where: Brennan Room, Shortland Union Building, Newcastle University, Callaghan
What's on: The first tournament kicks off after dinner at around 11pm Friday night. We will then be running the rest of the tournaments at designated times over the remainder of the 3 days.
Sleep?: You are able to sleep at the venue (albeit on the floor) or you can leave and come back any time during the event.
Food/Drinks: We will be providing Dinners and Breakfasts, lunch will be available via The GT Bar, Subway or the Food shops at Jesmond. Drinks during the GT Bar's opening hours will be provided by them. During the night water will be provided and drinks will be on sale.
